Overview
PATTERN is seeking a dynamic, detail-oriented Event Coordinator to lead the planning, execution, and logistical coordination of public events at the Stutz. This role is ideal for someone who thrives on organization, communication, and relationship management, while embracing a hands-on approach to event production. As a part-time contractor, you will work closely with our team to foster community engagement and create memorable experiences.
Key Responsibilities:
- Event Management: Execute an existing calendar of public events (vendor markets, food pop-ups, concerts, ), ensuring smooth operations from planning to teardown.
- Tenant Engagement: Communicate with Stutz tenants through follow-up meetings, surveys, and relationship-building to foster engagement.
- Logistics Coordination: Handle permitting, vendor contracts, sourcing talent, and day-of coordination.
- Budget and Records Management: Track event budgets, manage contracts, and maintain accurate records.
- Team Collaboration: Work with marketing, social media, and design teams to ensure events are well-promoted and documented.
- Support Creative Economy Initiatives: Assist with broader Pattern and Creative Economy events as needed.
Requirements:
- At least 36 months of full-time, professional event management, customer service, or administrative experience.
- High school diploma or higher.
- Flexibility to work weekends and evenings for event coverage.
Schedule & Compensation:
- Approximately 20 hours per week, flexible schedule (some office presence required Tuesday- Thursday).
- $20/hour to start, but negotiable commensurate with experience
