Ignite Studio Seeks Art for “Colorful Existence”

Deadline: 05/07/2025

Ignite Studio seeks submissions for “Colorful Existence,” our upcoming group exhibition set to celebrate this year’s summer reading program “Color Our World.”

ABOUT “Colorful Existence”

There are many different colorful characters who make up our community! Some artists use creativity as a means of expressing or exploring their own characters or identities. Identity is a combination of a person or group’s values, expressions, and traits. Ignite Studio wants to see your depictions of colorful existence for our upcoming show, depicting personal, community, or artistic identity.

How does identity color your world? What art experiences have helped you understand your existence more? Does your art practice represent your community’s colors? What art do you and your neighbors value as important for your collective identity? Does your art depict experiences or feelings that were formative to your identity?

Deadline to submit is April 30.

Artwork will be displayed at Ignite Studio, in the lower level of the Hamilton East Public Library at: 5 Municipal Drive, Fishers, IN 46038.
