About Indy Latina Artists:
Latina-Artists is a non-profit organization established in 2022 by artists Mirvia Sol Eckert and Mary Mindiola. Our primary objective is to actively pursue and establish exhibition opportunities to promote and showcase the artistic talents of Latina artists in the Indianapolis and surrounding community. In 2023, ILA successfully organized exhibitions using our own resources, furthering our mission to provide exposure and support for Latina visual artists.
It was created for:
~ unify, support, and empower working Latina artists in Indianapolis and surrounding areas.
~ recognize the contribution of Latina women in the arts, working together to provide networking and or mentoring with other accomplished artists.
~ To seek out and set up exhibition opportunities and provide exposure to the artistic Latina women of Indy.
