What is a Just Transition?
Just Transition Northwest Indiana was born out of the Just Transition Framework, describing a transition from the carbon-based, capitalist economy of today to the renewable, regenerative economy of tomorrow. A Just Transition requires good jobs and a healthy environment where everyone can live and thrive. It means no one is left behind in the transition beyond fossil fuel-produced energy.
Deadline
JTNWI will accept as many submissions as possible before the deadline. Once our team, comprising a host committee of artists, deliberates and selects the winning submissions, they will receive a confirmation. Submissions will be publicly displayed for an artist exhibition showcase in July, with installation beginning on July 1, 2024. The artist must drop off and pick up work at designated dates and times. The deadline for submission is Sunday, June 9, 2024, at 11:59 PM CST.

This is step 1 in a two-step submission process. The first form is a general interest form, and the second form, which you will also be directed to upon competition for this form, is where you will upload your submission by Sunday, June 9, 2024, at 11:59 PM CST.
