The Community Engagement Specialist, is a key member of our Programming Team, focusing on external partnerships, such as school programming and logistics. In collaboration with the Program Specialist, who handles family-facing programming, the Community Engagement Specialist ensures the smooth execution of our organizational programs. Both roles share responsibilities and work closely to support KDO’s mission. While the Program Specialist focuses on family-facing initiatives, the Community Engagement Specialist coordinates logistics, manages partnerships, and ensures that programs run seamlessly to enhance and stabilize KDO’s reach and impact. This position, a new role to KDO, will play a critical role in maintaining and strengthening the quality of KDO’s current programs, ensuring consistent delivery and long-term sustainability.
