Position Overview: Pattern seeks our very first Marketing and Storytelling Generalist to drive our mission of supporting and empowering Indiana’s creative economy. This role requires an elevated attention to detail and a scrappy, can-do, team-player work ethic. This position is ideal for an individual who combines a strategic mind with robust administrative and project management skills. (In other words, you can handle high-level marketing strategies and the hundreds of little tasks necessary to pull off a successful campaign.)

Key Responsibilities:
- Strategic Storytelling and Brand Development: Create and execute a marketing strategy that emphasizes storytelling across digital and print channels, with the goal of elevating Pattern’s brand, mission, and programs.
- Project and Calendar Management: Oversee the marketing calendar, prioritize key campaigns, and ensure consistent brand messaging across all platforms.
- Content Creation and Oversight: Work with a team of writers, designers, and photographers to develop and coordinate content for social media, newsletters, blog posts, and other media to highlight Pattern’s work and advocate for Indiana’s creative economy.
- Collaboration and Coordination: Manage relationships with external specialists for design, PR, and social media, ensuring high-quality execution of each project.
- Performance Tracking and Analysis: Use data to assess campaign effectiveness, report on impact, and refine marketing tactics to drive engagement.
Qualifications:

- Professional Experience: 4-6 years in marketing, communications, or brand storytelling, ideally within the nonprofit or creative Familiarity with Indiana’s arts, culture, and creative sector challenges and opportunities is a plus.
