Meridian Kessler Neighborhood Association Grants

Does your nonprofit serve the Meridian-Kessler Neighborhood? If so, you are invited to apply for MKNA’s 2024 Vi Walker Neighborhood Grant Program. We are proud to fund these neighborhood grants from a percentage of the proceeds from the annual Meridian-Kessler Home & Garden Tour.

PURPOSE:
To fund programs that will have a lasting, sustainable impact on the neighborhood and improve the lives of MK residents by addressing one or more of the following critical needs:

Strengthen community engagement and vitality of the neighborhood.
Encourage health and safety efforts.
Support education initiatives.

ELIGIBILITY:
Nonprofit 501(c)3 organization, school or church, or
MKNA Board committee, or
Individuals affiliated or partnering with an organization who are in support of their efforts (e.g., Scouts, KIBI, Herron School of Art)

APPLICATION PROCESS:
Grant amounts vary from year to year, but awards are typically between $500 and $5000. Apply by June 28, 2024; notifications sent by August 20.

Applications should answer the grant questions in the order asked. Answers to the application project description section should not exceed two pages.
Applications submitted after specified deadline will not be considered for funding.
