Kinhouse seeks to support emerging artists with this meaningful opportunity to have a solo exhibition! Filling a gallery full of work you made is such an impactful step in an artists career.
The selected artist will receive a supported solo show experience from beginning to end.
This includes:
– mentorship and support leading up to the exhibition
– a week long stay at Kinhouse Artist Residency in Fort Wayne, IN (the week of the exhibition opening)
– installation support at the exhibition
– 1 month solo exhibition at our gallery
– promotion and marketing of your artwork
– an opening reception on Friday, February 7th, 2025
For this show we are asking artists to submit a proposal for a monumental solo experience. Whether you are an artist who has not yet had your first solo show, or someone who is looking for a place to facilitate a project or new body of work, we’d love to see your ideas!
We recognize that are careers are full of milestone events and working towards your first (or an early career) solo show is a big one! Whether you are selected to show with us for this show or not, we hope this opportunity empowers you to put together a strong proposal and find a place to exhibit your work in 2025.
We welcome submissions from persons of all genders and backgrounds. Work may be submitted in a proposed form (not yet finished).
Residency dates are firm: Monday, February 3rd through – Sunday Feb 9th 2025
Exhibition opening will take place: Friday evening, February 7th, 2025

Submission Fee:
$35 for 1 solo show proposal — Use code “SUPPORT” for $10 off your submission fee if needed, no questions asked
For the purposes of this process a “proposal” may include completed works, work in progress, or art ideas waiting to be developed. Fees are non-refundable. All art mediums are accepted for consideration.
