Part-time Hours: Two or three days per week, 13-20 Hours. Saturday 10 am – 6 pm required. The second
day could be Friday or Sunday depending on what works with your schedule.
Salary: $15-$16/hour
Start date: Flexible. Ideally we would like to have someone start in mid-November.
Sheafer + King Modern is in search of a highly charismatic, responsible, employee at our shop in
South Broad Ripple.
● Provide an exceptional customer service experience by engaging with customers and
demonstrating a thorough knowledge of the store, fine art, and vintage modernist design. A big part of the job will be telling the story of the art and unique vintage items in the shop. You will be tasked with creating a strong rapport with our clients and maintaining those relationships.
● Actively assist with managing our shop’s social media including: Instagram, Facebook, Next Door, and LinkedIn.
● Other responsibilities may include: simple framing/matting of artwork (we’ll teach you how to do this), assisting with online marketing, helping with shipping, etc.
● Generally running of the gallery.
Requirements:
● Ability to express a passion for art and design.
● Active user of social media.
● Be detail-oriented and able to manage time independently.
Preferred:
● Some college.
● Background in art, interior design, or marketing.
● Retail or customer service experience.
● Basic photo editing skills.
