Paul & Daisy Soros Graduate Fellowships for New Americans Seeks Applicants

The Paul & Daisy Soros Fellowships for New Americans was established to support exceptional immigrants and children of immigrants in pursuing graduate education in the United States. By awarding up to $90,000 in funding to 30 individuals each year, the fellowship program aims to highlight the diverse contributions of New Americans to society and culture. Apply by 2pm Eastern on October 31, 2024.

Eligible New Americans include green card holders, naturalized citizens, Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals (DACA) recipients, individuals born abroad who graduated from both high school and college in the United States, and the US-born children of two immigrants. Interested applicants can watch an information session for those in the arts, design, and architecture.

The fellowship boasts an active alumni network that includes artists, designers, architects, directors, writers, composers, and musicians, as well as doctors, lawyers, public health experts, professors, engineers, and entrepreneurs. It is particularly beneficial for students in the arts pursuing MFAs, providing critical financial support to advance their creative and academic endeavors.
