Girls Inc. of Indianapolis Mural Project
Introduction
Girls Inc. of Greater Indianapolis is a nonprofit organization whose mission for over 50 years is to inspire all girls to be strong, smart, and bold. This is accomplished by providing comprehensive programming in healthy living, academic enrichment and support, and life skills instruction at school and community partners throughout Central Indiana, providing more than 1,200 participants, ages 5 to 24, the opportunity to experience a linear pathway of education and personal development. The combination of long-lasting mentoring relationships, a pro-girl environment, and research-based programming equips girls to navigate gender, economic, and social barriers.
Objective
We are seeking proposals from talented artists to create a mural for both indoor and outdoor spaces at the Girls Inc. of Indianapolis Office Campus. The total budget for this project is $30,000 (indoor wall space is 11 ft wide by 4ft tall). The mural should reflect the theme of Strong, Smart, and Bold girls and women, and enhance the aesthetic appeal of the designated areas through alignment with our branding and values.
Scope of Work
• Design and submit initial concepts for approval.
• Prepare surfaces by cleaning and priming.
• Execute the mural using high-quality, durable materials.
• Perform any necessary touch-ups and final inspections.
