Gallery Wall Assessment, Delivery & Pickup

Project Summary
We are seeking a contractor to retrieve, repair, deliver, and later retrieve 6-freestanding gallery walls for an upcoming art event.

Scope of Work
1. Pickup: Retrieve 6 gallery walls currently in storage (1426 W 29th St, Indianapolis, IN 46208).
Walls are light-weight, freestanding on locking wheels, dimensions: 8ft tall x 4ft wide each.

2. Inspection & Repair
– Assess structural integrity and surface damage.

– Reinforce structure if needed.

– Repair any cracks, dents, or wobbly wheels.

– Repaint surfaces if damaged or scuffed (finish: matte white preferred).

3. Delivery
Transport and deliver the repaired walls to the event venue by Wednesday, September 11, 2025 to Crane Bay Event Center, 551 W Merrill St, Indianapolis, IN 46225. Times will be coordinated.
Ensure walls are functional and stable upon delivery. (Please note walls are very light-weight)

4. Post-Event Pickup
– Return to event site to pick up and remove the walls after the event concludes (September 11, 2025 and 1426 W 29th Street).

Base Budget
The base budget for this project is $1,500. This should cover all costs associated with repair, materials, labor, transportation, delivery, and post-event pickup. Please submit your interest with an itemized breakdown aligned with this budget and or any adjustments.
Deliverables
– Functional, professionally repaired gallery walls

– Timely delivery and pickup logistics

– Clear communication and care during transport
– Proper storage of walls to prevent damage

Proposal Requirements
– Itemized estimate for all labor, materials, transport, and pickup

– Availability for the project timeline

– Business name, contact info, and proof of insurance (if applicable)

– Past experience with gallery walls, art installs, or similar carpentry work (preferred)
