This year’s Spirit & Place Festival will feature more than 30 events and nearly 90 volunteer shifts in Marion, Johnson, Hamilton, Boone, and Putnam Counties! From outdoor nature walks to cozy indoor lectures, there are plenty of opportunities to get involved—and we deeply value your commitment and support.
Volunteering is a wonderful way to support Spirit & Place, connect with community, and experience the festival up close.
Volunteer duties include:

Signing up for one or more volunteer shifts

Arriving 30 minutes before the event start time

Greeting guests on behalf of Spirit & Place

Inviting guests to sign up for our e-newsletter

Distributing Event Guides and evaluations

Staying until the end of the event to collect evaluations (15–20 minutes after the scheduled end time)
