Organizations

As part of its mission to nurture a culture where arts organizations thrive, the Arts Council works to convene, connect, educate, and serve as a resource for Indianapolis arts organizations and administrators.

By serving as the main hub for existing arts organizations, the Arts Council's Organization Directory serves as a key resource for exploring the variety of arts organizations, galleries, performing arts venues, and museums in Indianapolis' thriving arts scene.

For Arts in Education opportunities, organizations can explore and share offerings on IndyArtsEd, our online education directory. This Directory focuses on educational opportunities for the community, school resources and grant opportunities, and Any Given Child, a Kennedy Center initiative.

Arts Management Resources are curated by the Arts Council and serve as an ongoing resource of information for arts administrators and are collected from the Arts Council's organizational development meetings and grant programs.

Understanding that a vibrant Indianapolis means a creative workforce, the Arts Council works to keep talented artists and arts administrators employed in Indianapolis. Organization Employment on our Indy Arts Guide, offers a range of employment opportunities for individuals interested in working in the arts.

The Arts Council also hosts a variety of meetings and workshops geared toward those working in the arts. Meetings and workshops provide tremendous networking and educational opportunities for our arts administrators, and keep our arts organizations innovative, educated, and connected.
