This mural is intended to celebrate creativity in Indianapolis, placing emphasis on diversity and the interconnectedness of our community. The design focuses on the essence of humans capturing moments in their environment through photography. The skyline serves as a picturesque backdrop, with individuals using their lenses to capture the beauty of the city. Features include flowers seamlessly transitioning into the sky, intertwining with silhouettes of people illuminated by gentle light. This floral motif, both within and beyond the human figures, symbolizes our profound connection—to each other, our surroundings, and the natural world. The color scheme is derived from the building’s surroundings, creating a connection between the mural and its environment.

Viewers are invited to engage with the mural by becoming an integral part of the artistic expression.  This interaction fosters a sense of community ownership.

The artist, Megan Jefferson, is based in Indianapolis. She creates art in her studio and murals in the community.  She has been actively creating work ever since receiving her BFA from Miami University in 1998. She has exhibited extensively around central Indiana and sells her work to designers and individual patrons. Megan loves to create pieces that have a focus on color-based abstraction and landscapes as a theme.
