The images on this box form a collage, coming together to represent the Garfield Park neighborhood. The design features plants from the conservatory, structural elements like ironwork from the pagoda shelter, and produce from the farmer’s market.  The artist’s intention was to encapsulate what makes this neighborhood an important part of Indianapolis.

Becky Entrican is a painter and illustrator living in the Indianapolis area. She graduated with her BFA in Painting from Herron School of Art and Design in 2021. Entrican’s art focuses on the ties between objects and memories, treating everyday toys and trinkets as ways to trace both our collective and her personal history just like artifacts in a museum.
