Indianapolis-based John Domont and his nephew, Jordan Domont created this mural under the West Street bridge on the Indianapolis Central Canal in downtown Indianapolis. Bookended by Fujin and Raijinthe thunder and wind gods of Japanthe artists depict the journey of human life through the four seasons and the inextricable linked connections between nature and the nourishment found in our environment. For the artists, the ultimate connection is to Indianathe home of simplicity and possibilities.
The mural was one of 46 murals commissioned by the Arts Council of Indianapolis as part of its nationally renowned 46 for XLVI mural initiative.
