Start With Art is a beloved annual tradition that kicks off the fall arts season in Indianapolis. And while the 2020/2021 arts season looks a lot different due to the pandemic, there’s still a lot to celebrate.
Thank you to those who joined us at (Re)Start With Art, presented by Schahet Hotels, an inspiring evening of stories, performances, and special guest appearances to support the new Keep Indy Creating Relief Fund and recognize the power and resiliency of the arts.
The virtual benefit, produced in partnership with WFYI, celebrated all the innovative ways that Central Indiana artists, and arts & cultural organizations, continue to connect and uplift us during these challenging times.
Please help us make sure that #IndyKeepsCreating now and into the future. Gifts of any amount, made between now and December 31, 2020, will be matched by the Efroymson Family Fund up to $100,000.
Start with Art is brought to you by Schahet Hotels and the Arts Council of Indianapolis.
Emmanuel Carter is a Carmel-based actor who has competed on “America’s Got Talent” with his former dance group, co-starred in the 2019 Netflix show “Soundtrack,” and appeared in the film “Creed 2” and TV shows “Fatal Attraction, “For My Man,” and “Murder Chose Me.” He’s also acted in 40+ commercials, including this fun one for Tappers Arcade.
“My goal as an actor/entertainer is to contribute a truly positive influence on the world because it’s a very effective and loving way of uniting people together,” Carter said. “Doesn’t matter your background or ideologies - we all just wanna feel good, and when you feel good, good things happen!”
